In the UI GreenMetric 2024 Rankings, which evaluate universities across various dimensions of sustainability and serve as a global green campus ranking, Hacettepe University ranked 30th in Türkiye and 299th worldwide.
Despite a greater number of universities participating in the UI GreenMetric evaluation system both in Türkiye and globally this year, Hacettepe University moved down two places in the national ranking but advanced 13 places worldwide. In the category of “Setting and Infrastructure”, the university achieved remarkable success, ranking 4th globally and 1st in Türkiye.
